Written by Corinne Dobbas, MS, RD // August 9, 2010 // Health, Nutrition // 4 Comments
This morning, on the Today Show, the lovely Joy Bauer, MS, RD, CDN dished about five superfoods your kids and you should be eating. I can’t get enough of this nutrition all-star gal. Hence, I had to share—not only because I adore her style—but because her advice is spot on AND she gives fabulous, PRACTICAL tips on how to incorporate these healthifying foods easily into your daily grind. So … Bring on the spinach, beans, fish, oats, and eggs (yes, eggs, contrary to popular belief). Find out why by tuning in below. Enjoy!

P.S. Congrats to Kristen from the Swanky Dietitian! She won the Uncle Sam cereal. Enjoy Kristen!

I say goodbye to fad diets, bogus "fat-burning" pills, and processed, non-food food. And, I smile hello to a healthifying lifestyle full of fruits, veggies, and whole grains, sweaty workouts, the occasional "chocolate fix," sleep, family and friend time, and quality "me time" with a focus on health. I look forward to your comments and thoughts as the posts healthify on by!

All great foods. I also like that she points out that superfoods aren’t just those overly expensive rare berries.
She forgot to mention the highly bioavailable lutein and zeaxanthin in the eggs!? Haha good clip though overall.
Glad you posted this video since I didn’t get to see it. I love the Today Show. I love that people are giving more props to eggs since they got such a bad rep for so long!
I am so excited I won!! Thanks!!
